本研究室に所属する博士後期課程3年の Makene Twilumbaさん が、

学内公募である 「令和８年度 博士後期課程女子大学院生研究支援事業」 に採択されました。

本事業は、博士後期課程に在籍する女子大学院生を対象として、

学位取得に向けた研究活動を重点的に支援すること を目的に実施されているものです。

研究遂行に必要な経費の支援を受けることで、研究体制の強化や学会発表の機会拡充など、

より発展的な研究推進が期待されます。

Our Doctoral Student Selected for

the FY2026 “Research Support Program for Female Doctoral Students”

A doctoral student from our laboratory, Makene Twilumba, has been selected for the university’s “FY2026 Research Support Program for Female Doctoral Students.”

This program aims to support female students enrolled in doctoral courses by providing research funding that helps strengthen their research environment and accelerate progress toward degree completion.

Through this support, recipients are expected to further advance their research activities, including enhancing experimental systems and increasing opportunities for conference presentations.

Makene Twilumbaさんは現在、

今回の支援により、学位取得に向けた研究活動をさらに加速させる予定です。

Makene Twilumba is currently conducting research on

“HIV-1 Capsid Genetic Polymorphisms in Circulating strains in Tanzania: Implications for the Adoption of the Novel Twice-Yearly Injectables Antiviral Drug, Lenacapavir”,

and this support will enable her to further accelerate her work toward completing her doctoral degree.
